30-Day Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with us! We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return a product, please review the guidelines and instructions below.

1) Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your item.

2) Eligibility

To be eligible, items must be:

  • New, unused, and uninstalled, in the original packaging with all tags, accessories, manuals, and parts.
  • In resaleable condition (no markings, labels, writing, or damage to product or packaging).
  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
Note: Installed or energized electrical products are not returnable. This includes items that have been wired, powered, mounted, cut, crimped, soldered, or modified.

3) Start a Return (RMA Required)

  1. Email info@greenbirdes.com with your order number, item(s), and reason for return.
  2. We’ll review your request and, if eligible, issue an approval with instructions.
  3. Do not ship items back without approval — packages without an RMA may be refused.

Unless the return is due to our error, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

4) Damages, Defects & Shortages

Inspect your order upon delivery. Report any shipping damage, defects, or shortages within 48 hours of receipt to info@greenbirdes.com. Claims after this period may not be accepted.

  • Keep all packaging and take clear photos of the box, packing materials, labels, and product.
  • We may coordinate a carrier inspection and provide next steps.
  • We’ll repair, replace, or refund once the claim is validated and the item is returned per instructions.

5) Non-Returnable / Final-Sale Items

  • Breakers, fuses, and special-order items (including factory builds or vendor-direct shipments).
  • Cut-to-length or customized products (wire/cable cuts, tape/COB light cuts, custom assemblies, made-to-order finishes).
  • Opened consumables (bulbs/lamps, chemicals, adhesives) and batteries once installed or activated.
  • Any item installed, modified, or not in original packaging.

If a non-returnable item arrives damaged or defective, report it within the timeframe above for assistance under the manufacturer or shipping claim process.

6) Restocking Fees

We generally do not charge restocking fees, but reserve the right to apply a 25–50% restocking fee in these cases:

  • The order has already shipped or been delivered.
  • The packaging has been opened or handling is required to restore the item to resaleable condition.
  • Special-order/vendor-direct items (if vendor permits returns) may carry a vendor restocking fee of 50% plus return freight.

All applicable fees are deducted from refunds.

7) Shipping Costs

  • Outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • If your order qualified for “free shipping,” the actual outbound shipping cost may be deducted from any refund.
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
Import Duties, Taxes, and Tariffs: Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or tariffs imposed by their local government or shipping courier. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are non-refundable, even if the order is refused or returned. Green Bird Electric Solutions Inc. has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount in advance.

8) Exchanges

For the fastest turnaround, return the original item (once approved) and place a new order. We’ll process the return per this policy.

9) Refunds

  • Once the return is received and inspected, we’ll email you the approval status.
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact info@greenbirdes.com.

10) Warranties

Many products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. If a defect arises after installation or use, contact us with details and proof of purchase; we’ll help initiate a claim per the manufacturer’s terms.

11) Incorrect Address / Refused Delivery

Shipments returned due to incorrect/undeliverable addresses or refused delivery may incur reshipping charges and/or restocking fees.
